BIOMEDICINE WELCOMING NIGHT 2017

Biomedicine Welcoming Night is an annual flagship event held by BIOS (Biomedicine Society, Universiti Sains Malaysia). The objective of the event is (1) to strengthen the relationship between seniors and juniors, (2) to gain real life experience sharing by alumni from Biomedicine Programme, Universiti Sains Malaysia on their career or academic prospects and (3) to establish networks with alumni. Besides, the event is coloured with several different elements of activities such as performances from freshies, freshies introductory session, academic appreciation ceremony, alumni sharing, introduction to Biomedicine Society and more. An alumni graduated in 2017, Ms. Fatin Najiah Mohd Idrus, was invited as honour guess for this particular event. Ms. Fatin is currently a PhD student in School of Health Sciences. She shared motivation talk to about 100 of Biomed undergraduate students.

An alumni graduated in 2009 (Mrs. Nurul Wahidah Ab Ghani) and an alumni graduated in 2018 (Ms. Harishini A/P Rajaratinam) were invited as honour guess for this particular event. Mrs. Nurul is currently a Science Office in Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kota Bharu while Ms. Harishini is a PhD student in School of Health Sciences. Both of them shared motivation talk to about 100 of Biomed undergraduate students.
