Internship Talk

The Internship Talk program was held by the Forensic Science Student Association of Forensic Science Program (FOSSA), School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia on 22 January 2022. The purpose of this programme was to provide early exposure on internship to Forensic Science students from senior students and alumnus who have successfully positioned themselves as intern students in several companies. This early exposure would help students be mentally and physically prepared and plan their direction after completing their studies in this field. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program was held online via the Cisco Webex platform. The panels were the final year Forensic Science students who recently completed their internship, and a recorded video from alumni of batch 2016-2020 was prepared and played during the program. The panels were Ms. Nur Fazira binti Abdullah and Ms. Farahanis binti Nor Azmi Shaparuddin, interns at SPRM, Ms. Lim Qiu Xin, intern at ExcelVite Sdn. Bhd. an alumnus who completed training at Bomba Malaysia, Ms. Nur Wazira binti Othman, Ms. Nisa Aysha binti Zainuddin, Mr. Muhammad Faiz bin Ismail and Mr. Muhammad Fariz Hafiz bin Bahari. The program was moderated by Ms. Thurka Devya A/P Rames, a Forensic Science Student Association member and was chaired by Dr. Wan Nur Syuhaila Mat Desa and Dr. Dzulkiflee Ismail. The three hours session was participated by nearly 48 participants.
