Cultivating knowledge particularly science is imperial and should begin at the early stages of education. Echoing this, the Biomedicine Program, School of Health Science, in collaboration with the Kelantan State Education Department has successfully conducted Science for School Program on the 15th of June 2022. With the theme ‘Inspiring young scientists in the era of COVID-19’, this program gathered 100 targeted students and their biology teachers, beside non-targeted participants. The students have come from ten selected schools spread throughout Kelantan. This annual program which marked the fifth organization was conducted online this year due to the endemic state of COVID-19. Streaming from Youtube, the program had gained 800 total viewers. During the two and a half hours event, the students were exposed to knowledge sharing beside interactive activities; Anatomy of Human Respiratory System, Diving into the World of Microorganism, Extraction of Bacterial DNA, and Human and Immunity. This knowledge-sharing sessions, coupled with demonstration of science activities as well as an interactive session with the presenters were conducted by experienced lecturers from the Biomedicine Program; Associate Professor Dr Hermizi Hapidin, Dr Nur Salwani Bakar, Dr Nur Fazila Che Mat, Dr Yusmazura Zakaria, and Dr Sabreena Safuan. This program was a big success for the organizer. The score of pre- and post-questionnaire regarding the topics shared during the program showed a significant difference. All students were excited and hoping for a similar, traditional face-to-face program in the future.
