An educational visit to Melbourne, Australia was successfully organised by the Environmental & Occupational Health programme of the School of Health Sciences from 8 to 14 August 2018. This visit was participated by 15 students from the programme and accompanied by Dr. Siti Marwanis Anua, Mdm. Nor Haslina Mohd and Dr. Nurulilyana Sansuddin.

The delegates visited RMIT University and had a good sharing session on the Environmental Sustainability and Remediation (EnSuRe) project by Associate Professor Graeme Allinson as well as a fruitful seminar discussion on biodiversity preservation using innovative collaborative approach at the Department of Environmental, Water, Land and Planning (DELWP), Victoria. They also visited factories including the Alba Cheese Manufacturing Pty. Ltd and St. David Dairy. For weekend getaway, they spent fun time at Mount Buller, the adventure theme park (Luna Park), Brighton Box, penguin viewing at St. Kilda Pier, sightseeing the beautiful city of Melbourne, Eureka Tower and Yarra River. Through this educational visit, the studnets gained new experiences and informative inputs, which will benefit them in their working life in the future.
