Forensic Science Student Association (FOSSA) of the School of Health Sciences, USM, had organised a Forensic Science Exhibition: Art of Deduction on 4th May 2019 at Dewan Utama, Health Campus, USM with the aim to introduce forensic science knowledge to the participants, as well as to allow them to venture into various disciplines in forensic sciences.
This event was officiated by the Deputy Campus Director of USM, Professor Dr Adam Husein. In addition to the exhibition booths prepared by the students from Forensic Science programme, there were also two professional talks by Supt. Roslan Yusof, the Head of the Department of Narcotic Crime Investigation of Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kelantan, on “Kratom Risks,” and also by Associate Professor Dr Geshina Ayu Mat Saat, lecturer from Forensic Science programme, on “Say No to Victimisation.” This event has successfully attracted participants from five secondary schools in Kelantan as well as supports from various agencies, including Royal Malaysia Police, Department of Chemistry Malaysia, National Anti-drugs Agency, Forensic Science of Society Malaysia, and Blood Transfusion Unit HUSM.
