Developing Countries Grant Competition

Congratulations to Nur Athirah Abd Rahman, a PhD student in Sports Science supervised by Dr Shazlin Shaharudin, for winning the 3rd place of Developing Countries Grant Competition (DCGC) 2021 awarded by the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB) during its virtual XXVIII Congress on 25–29 July 2021. With over thousands of participants, the project “Effects of exercise intervention on the biomechanics of occupational-related tasks among nurses with low back pain” was selected as the top five finalists for DCGC and was invited for a proposal presentation during ISB2021. For winning the 3rd place, Athirah was awarded international grant worth USD500. Congrats, Athirah!
