This programme is the first forensic science programme offered in Malaysia. It is a very popular programme among prospective students in the country. Students will be exposed to the latest knowledge and technologies in the field of forensic science via courses which have been developed meticulously. Renowned programmes from other countries such as the US, Europe and Australia were used as a benchmark. Teaching staffs of the school together with others from the School of Medical Sciences, School of Dental Sciences, Department of Chemistry Malaysia, The Fire and Rescue Department, and The Royal Malaysia Police will together ensure that the programme is run smoothly and in an excellent manner. This programme is expected to cater the national requirements for forensic scientists. A total of 145 credit units are required for graduation.
